Jimmy Villaflor is an aspiring singer-songwriter and graduate of the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. He picked up guitar and began singing in his school choir at age eleven and continued his passion for music throughout high school, singing in the men’s a cappella group, playing in rock bands, and performing every year in the annual variety show. All the while, Jimmy worked on honing his craft at songwriting until applying as a singer-songwriter to the Popular Music program at Thornton. Since graduating from USC, he has continued to write songs and will be releasing an album of original music this summer titled Wax & Wane. Pump Boys and Dinettes will be Jimmy’s first musical theater performance.
