New music can be a meeting place between cultures. The Asia / America New Music Institute returns to the Playhouse with a commitment to connecting Asia and the Americas through contemporary music. Its concerts explore cultural stories across time and place, pairing musical exchange with education and community connection. The program invites audiences to hear how composers and performers respond to different histories and create something together in the present.
