Getting Here

Our theater sits in the heart of Sierra Madre, a walkable downtown surrounded by cafés, shops, and tree-lined streets.

Parking in Sierra Madre is easy and close by.

 

Free Options

  • Street parking throughout the neighborhood (permit only from 2-5 AM)

  • Free public lots behind the theater and along Sierra Madre Blvd (lots close at midnight)

 

Paid Options

  • Limited metered spots near Baldwin Ave

  • Please check posted signs; Sierra Madre meters run shorter hours than Pasadena

Public Transportation

  • Bus: Metro 268 route (El Monte Station) stops at Sierra Madre / Hermosa and Sierra Madre / Baldwin. Service runs 5:56 AM - 9:26 PM.

  • Train: Sierra Madre Villa Station on the A Line, connecting to the Metro 268 bus. Metro trains run ~4:30 AM - ~ 1:30 AM.

  • Metro Micro: Services in the Sierra Madre area.

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before showtime.

Doors open one hour before the performance, and our staff is here to help with seating, accessibility needs, or ticket questions.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit and debit cards at the box office.

 

WALK-UP SALES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! (Tickets subject to availability)

ALL RESERVED TICKETS ARE HELD FOR YOU AT THE BOX OFFICE, THE DAY OF THE SHOW.

BOX OFFICE OPENS 30 MINUTES BEFORE CURTAIN TIME.

 

There are no additional fees when paying by cash for our regularly scheduled shows.​​​​​​

 

TeenTix pass holders are welcome at Sierra Madre Playhouse events! All teens ages 13-19 are welcome to sign up for a FREE TeenTix pass to get tickets for arts events (including ours) throughout LA County and Seattle for just $5! Call the box office beginning the day before or walk-up before the event begins to check for ticket availability!

 

EXCHANGE INFORMATION

If you need to exchange your tickets for a performance of equal value at least 72 hours in advance of the show, we can do so to the best of our ability. Please call our box office at 626.355.4318 and dial extension 2.

 

CANCELLATION FEE

If you need to cancel your tickets at least 72 hours in advance of the show, we have the option to refund the cost of your tickets. There is a non-refundable per ticket cancellation fee of $2, or, 10% of the face value of the ticket; whichever is greater.
