▌ACCESS & RESERVATIONS
Do I need to reserve seats?
You don’t have to, but many shows fill. Call or email a few days early. Last-minute? Contact us and we’ll try to seat you.
How flexible are reservations?
Very. If you miss a reservation, it’s fine. If seats are open when you arrive, you’re in. If not, you get priority on the waitlist.
What if a show is sold out?
Members get first access to cancellations and the priority waitlist.
How do I reserve seats?
Call, email, or text. Your membership includes concierge support—we handle everything.
Do I need physical tickets?
No. Just check in by name at the box office.

Which events are included?
All Playhouse-produced events: music, theatre, dance, film, family programming, series, and more.
Which events are not included?
Events rented by outside groups. Rentals won’t appear on our website calendar.
Is there a limit to how many shows I can attend?
No limit. Come as often as you like.
Can I see the same show more than once?
Yes—return as many times as you want.
Are Explorer or Community Members included in “unlimited access”?
No. Unlimited access applies only to Solo, Duo, and Quartet Memberships. Explorer Members receive a discounted 4-show bundle. Community Members support SMP’s mission and receive access to member news, invitations, and behind-the-scenes updates.

Can I bring guests?
Yes. Members receive 30% off additional tickets.
Do guest passes transfer?
Yes. Invite different people anytime.
What if I don’t use all my guest seats?
Unused guest seats don’t roll over, but most members use them easily during the year.
Can memberships be shared?
The membership is tied to one primary member, who needs to attend unless using transferable guest seats. With Duo and Quartet memberships, your extra seats are totally flexible—bring whoever you want, no pre-assigned names required.

When does my membership start?
The day you join, lasting a full 12 months.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrades from Solo to Duo or Quartet are prorated.
Does membership auto-renew?
Not yet. We’ll contact you when renewal approaches.
Can I pause my membership?
If you have temporary circumstances, contact us and we’ll help.
Do Explorer or Community Members get seat reservations?
Explorer Members use their discounted tickets like any standard purchase. This membership is automatically applied when you put 4 different performances in your cart at check out. Community Members do not receive special pricing, but can call our box office to make reservations like the other membership tiers.
Can I upgrade from Explorer or Community to a full Membership?
Yes. You can move into a Solo, Duo, or Quartet plan anytime. We’ll prorate the remainder so you don’t lose value.

No, but any donation you add to the purchase or throughout the year will be. Call us to chat about it.
