Sierra Madre Playhouse is a 99-seat historic performing arts center presenting music, dance, film, theater, comedy, and family programming year-round. Our work is intimate, community-driven, and artist-centered.

We operate with a small, collaborative team, close contact with leadership, and systems that prioritize clarity, sustainability, and thoughtful growth. Team members here have real ownership over their work and a direct connection to the impact it creates.

Open Positions:

Development Associate (Part-Time)

  • Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week)

  • $26–$28 per hour

  • Hybrid, one day per week on-site in Sierra Madre

The Development Associate supports the fundraising and institutional advancement work of Sierra Madre Playhouse, including grant writing, prospect research, donor database management, and stewardship coordination. This role works closely with the Artistic & Executive Director and plays a key part in keeping fundraising systems organized, timely, and effective.
