Violinist Vijay Gupta and pianist Dominic Cheli pair music with poetry, composers' private letters, and illuminations, the hand-painted images found in old prayer books. The program is named for those books, which made room for quiet reflection throughout the day. It invites us to hear the lives behind the music and notice how much beauty passes unseen in an ordinary day.
