Expect a dance show about the parts of yourself other people don't see, and an evening full of surprises and emotion. Michela Melone's EGO, from the Latin word for "I," looks at identity through movement that mixes contemporary dance, breaking, hip-hop, acrobatics, and Brazilian dance influences.

Almamoto Dance Company brings athleticism and floorwork to a quieter question: what stays hidden beneath what others assume about us? We are multifaceted, complicated, and intricate, and EGO makes room for every part.

Melone is adapting the work for the Playhouse stage. Bring a friend who likes dance that's physical and direct.
