This one feels like sitting in on a session between friends who clearly like playing together. Greg Porée leads his quartet through a night of jazz, and he's the musician behind a lot of the jazz you've heard at the Playhouse. His path started in classical guitar and moved through jazz, soul, and studio work. He has played with Sonny & Cher, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin, though you don't need to know any of that to enjoy the show. If you like the Playhouse's jazz nights, this is a good one to bring a friend to.
