Expect a night that moves between Armenian folk, bluegrass, and jazz. Raffi Joe Wartanian and The SER Ensemble bring MAKAM DELTA, a program that pulls from Armenian folk, modal jazz, flamenco, rebetiko, and bluegrass. Raffi plays the oud, a pear-shaped lute, and between songs he shares short spoken reflections and the occasional poem about where the music comes from.

You don't need to know these traditions to follow along. Bring a friend who likes music that crosses borders.
