Stories can live in a gesture, a relationship between bodies, or a movement that changes as we watch it. Nancy Evans Dance Theatre builds its work on that idea, creating dance theater informed by the lived experience of its performers. Dancers are collaborators in the creative process, and the work combines modern-dance foundations with character and narrative. Three performances bring storytelling through movement to the Playhouse.
