Drummer Kevin van den Elzen and pianist Josh Nelson lead a five-piece group in West Coast jazz, a style that grew up in Los Angeles in the 1950s. Together they created West Coast Jazz Hour, a project built on interviews and broadcasts about the musicians who made that sound.
