Expect an afternoon of new music that grows and changes as you listen.

Ravi Deo plays tabla, a pair of small hand drums that can sound almost like a voice, and he writes his own music in the Hindustani style. That's a centuries-old tradition from North India built on long, winding melodies and fast, intricate rhythms. Special guests join him, and much of the music is made up on the spot, so you'll hear the players trade ideas and surprise each other in real time.

Whether this is your first time hearing it or you already know it well, bring a friend and hear where it goes.
