Expect an evening of solo piano that goes well beyond what you might think the instrument can do.

Piano Spheres is a Los Angeles series devoted to adventurous solo piano music, much of it new or rarely heard. It's one pianist and one piano, and the music can be spare and quiet one moment and wild the next. It's a good night if you're curious about what a piano can do.

The program will be announced later in the season, and tickets will go on sale then.
