Comedy at the Playhouse A Curated Monthly Series at Sierra Madre Playhouse

We’re mixing up the format and bringing you three comics doing twenty-minute sets each! That’s one solid hour of comedy from three of today’s best comedians at the Sierra Madre Playhouse.

Matt Braunger was raised in Portland, Oregon. A headlining comedian since 2007 and an actor since childhood, Matt studied theatre in New York and improvisation in Chicago. Matt’s television credits include recurring roles on ABC’s Agent Carter, NBC’s Up All Night, Netflix’s Disjointed, Starz’ Take My Wife and Amazon’s Upload. She’s performed standup comedy on The Arsenio Hall Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Helen was featured in the Coen Brothers’ film Inside Llewyn Davis, and has guest-starred on Jane the Virgin, Parks and Recreation, and Pretty Little Liars. Helen’s sharp wit on current events have gotten her on CNN, The Young Turks and The Stephanie Miller Show. Her opinion videos on NowThis have surpassed 12 million views. She hosts the celebrity trivia podcast Go Fact Yourself on the Maximum Fun Network. Helen has performed for the troops in the Middle East and for international audiences in Asia, Europe and Latin America. She always wants to pet your dog and have a bite of your donut. Skyler Higley is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor who comes out of Chicago's legendary comedy scene. His incisive and razor sharp writing earned him a WGA Award while on staff at CONAN, and he is currently a staff writer for ‘The Onion.’ He has also contributed to ClickHole and the New Yorker. Skyler was honored as a New Face at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival, was named one of New York Comedy Festival's 'Comics To Watch' and has been described by his former boss Conan O'Brien as 'delightfully bizarre and undeniably hilarious.
